In 1946, Kenneth Savage had recently returned home from U.S. Naval duty at the end of World War II. Together with his father, C.A. Savage, he purchased a KB-5 international stake body truck and began hauling coal to American Fork, as well as transporting other products such as timber and cinder blocks. In the years that followed, Kenneth’s brothers Neal and Luke joined the company and it grew quickly. Over the decades that followed, the Savage family and the company’s management team have ensured that Savage maintains its core value of providing high quality service to its customers.
