Brahma was founded in 2002 when a handful of employees per formed a single maintenance job with a local copper mine. Brahma safely provides maintenance, capital project and shutdown ser vices to various mines throughout the United States. Brahma attributes much of its growth to its success in assisting mines reduce lost production time due to shutdowns, outages, and maintenance. Beyond Zero A proac t i ve, indus t r y- f i rs t initiative that's paying off. Part of Brahma’s success derives from its approach to safety, called Beyond Zero. A familiar term within the industry is "zero harm"—an honorable goal to reach zero safety incidents in the field. But what's the best way to get to zero? According to Brahma, the solution is to reach beyond it—like kicking a football out of the end zone to eliminate any possibility of a run back. Brahma makes safety more than a statistic or a mark—they make safety a way of being—a part of company, family and personal culture.
