It is important to CPS to maintain close, long-term relationships with its customers. Factory certified service technicians are provided with properly equipped service trucks and parts, enabling them to provide preventative maintenance and a quick resolve to equipment failures at the customer location. In addition, service agreements are established, with many customers, to provide quarterly service, including not only oil and filter changes, but inspection of electrical and electronic controls, control valves, safety and ancillary equipment. CPS takes pride in providing quality productsandinmeetingtheircommitments to their customers. Because of this philosophy and the dedication of their employees, the company has grown to 37 employees, providing quality equipment and services to themining and industrial base in Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Southwest Wyoming. The first building to house inventory and provide service was purchased in 1989. A new service bay with a five ton overhead crane, wash bay, and paint booth was completed in 1995. In 2008, it was determined that the original building needed to be used for service and repair only and a new 12,000 square foot office- warehouse building was completed for parts and units inventory only. Local parts and unit inventory is important to be able to respond to customer demand. Becoming a major supplier to the mining industry in Northern Nevada required CPS to establish a service branch in Elko, Nevada.
